Basic aims:  The educational objectives of the course are, first, about the characteristics and tools of analysis of agribusines and, second, knowledge of methods and tools of economic analysis of agricultural farms.
Acquired skills:  Knowledge of the main sources of economic statistics and agricultural usage. Understanding the characteristics of the agribusiness, mastery of tools of analysis and evaluation of agricultural production more profitable.
Course contents:  Characteristics of agriculture and agribusiness. The role of agriculture in the economy and society, agriculture in the economy, structural and economic characteristics of agriculture, agribusiness, food supply chains, the public and private sector services in agriculture, marketing and prices of food products. Agricultural Economics. Definition of farms, structure and types of farms, the organization of business and enterprise systems in agriculture, the economic balance of the farm, the economic analysis of farm management, evaluation summary of the choices of the entrepreneur, appraisal choices, choices about the investments, methods of evaluation of the effects of agricultural practices on the environment.
